Dr. Robert E. Berry is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California.
Dr. Robert Berry completed his fellowship training at OASIS Sports Medicine in San Diego. Dr. Berry specializes in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, cartilage transplant, ACL reconstruction, and trauma/fractures. He has been interviewed on local TV news programs as an expert on orthopedic and sports medicine injuries, and he has spoken to thousands of moms regarding football injuries and prevention at the Dallas Cowboys ATT stadium.
Dr. Robert Berry has been the team physician for several sports teams and events, including the San Diego Chargers, San Diego Riptide Professional Arena Football Team, Red Bull X-Fighters Extreme Team, Summer X-Games, WWE, Supercross Motocross, National Rugby Championships, OMBAC Rugby, NFL combines, as well as numerous local college and high school teams.
In addition, Dr. Berry has served as a reviewer for the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine journal. He has lectured at national meetings as an expert in sports medicine and served as orthopedic medical director for a local hospital system.
